The event aims to be a major conference and exhibition devoted to the field of networked and electronic media and ICT at large. It will provide a unique opportunity to network and share information and viewpoints on R&D status and perspectives in this area. This conference is Europe's largest ICT research event in 2008. The event is organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the French Presidency of the European Union and will examine European Union priorities in ICT research for over EUR 2 billion of funding available in 2009-2010. More than 4000 participants are expected to attend the event.
