Transport Equipment
The transport sector accounts for approximately 14% of
the total production of the EU manufacturing sectors. Especially the automotive
industry (NACE Rev. 1 34) is a frontrunner in adopting ICTs in production
processes as well as in the communication between car producers and suppliers
of parts and components for cars. This sector comprises NACE Rev. 1 34
and 35:
